Excellent location with Sea views. Fantastic interior design. Especially the Bar and dining area. Excellent Helpful Staff friendly. Beautiful clean and comfortable rooms. Great assistance received for people with disabilities.Food Excellent especially the Seaweed Bread it was unique and vvv tasty. Lovelyto see Staff so friendly and helpful towards elderly people..our friend the Late Pat Harvey Co Limerick always held the Tara Hotel and its Staff in Killybegs in High Esteem. It was his favourite Hotel to stay in when visiting Co Donegal. He spoke dearly about the Excellent Staff and beautiful rooms and experience. We found our stay Excellent. Pat was right our Stay at the Tara Hotel was " A Home from Home Experience" assisted by a great welcome from friendly staff and great assistance was recieved by those with reduced mobility. Thank you

An Excellent Stay as had by all. We just did not have enough time to try the Spa.

We really appreciated the friendliness of the entire staff. The room was excellent - a well thought layout and extra touches we haven’t seen elsewhere. Breakfast options were tasty as was dinner. Great stay and will highly recommend to our friends.

Minor - the automatic door by the elevator on the ground floor opens too frequently when waiting for the lift.

Myself and partner headed for donegal for our anniversary, We got to donegal town and looked for places to stay Tara Hotel came up, loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Excellent, comfortable room. Very helpful and friendly staff. I arrived very late but this was no problem and I was instantly made to feel welcome. Very satisfied with my stay here.

Staff very friendly and willing to go that extra mile. For example on one of the days they made it their business to serve breakfast earlier so that we could have breakfast earlier. This was done quietly, efficiently and the waitress was exceptional. Most impressive would thoroughly recommend the Tara Hotel.. Also hotel centrally located, convenient to different amenities. Thank you.

Only stayed one night!!

The bed was very comfortable, good choice for breakfast and the hotel was right in the middle of the town. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved the decor, the music, the food, the room was clean, fresh and bright, the view… Most of all we loved the very personable well trained staff. Without exception, every person was accommodating and a joy to interact with. They treated our Samoyed, Tula like a princess❤️❤️❤️

Te team are so welcoming from check in to check out, We ate at the turntable restaurant and the food was excellent , breakfast was great too Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting in killybegs Highly recommend

Nothing i didn't like

Christine at reception qas so warm n welcoming . Couldnt do enough. also the food and staff in the restaurant were v nice, efficient no dwlays.. food was delish. The hotel was beautiful , tge only thing qas no aircon, christime organised 2 fans for the room. i would invest in better fans if it gwts warm. But I have to say I will stay there again . When I am back in sept for qork . Also had a lo ely tour of the spa. I firgey the girls name but she was so nicd. love the decor. Thanks again
