Cannot fault this hotel. The staff especially, who go out of their way to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Breakfast menu is probably the best of any hotel we have stayed in before.

Looking forward to the gym being ready on our next visit but there is an excellent commercial gym less than 10 minutes walk away.

Rooms are beautiful, Receptionist on checkout was absolutely lovely 😍

Food is very expensive in hotel

Of course the location is excellent! We were so impressed with the entire staff: front desk, dining, housekeeping…. All efficient and genuinely friendly.

No negatives at all …. Well, parking is sometimes a little bit of a challenge, but we had great parking on this visit!

Very friendly professional check in with Joan, nice newly refurbished rooms, all staff I met were very friendly, and the chilli eggs at breakfast were one of the best dishes I’ve eaten in years

One of the best hotel experiences we ever had in Ireland! The location is top notch, just at the harbour. The rooms are super clean and cosy. The staff is too sweet and helpful. You feel like home the moment you step in. The whole hotel has a Ship/Yard theme and looks so new. The breakfast is as per the menu and not a buffet, which is the best part. That's because you can choose what means to have and the great chefs prepare as per your liking. The restaurant taked last food orders up till 8:45 pm and drink are till late night (abput 1 am), and downstair they have their pub, which got live music too, on Friday-Sundays. The whole experience is totally worth it! Also, ample parking space, and you can take a walk along the harbour and visit the cure town. If you want to visit Killybegs, Malin beg, Silver strand o nearby areas, this hotel is highly recommended!! We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely be back! That's how the hospitality should be. Kudos to each and evert staff member, specially the girl who server us the breakfast. Best regards, Aashish

It wasn't a triple room I stayed in however it was a lovely room , very clean and tidy

One of the best, most friendly hotels I stay at and I travel a lot with my work. The staff are always so friendly. The service is excellent, the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, food is unreal, especially the steak on the stone which I always have when I stay here. I can not rate this hotel highly enough !! Keep up the good work guys.

The hotel is excellent. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Excellent food with great views of the harbour from the dining room. Looking forward to going back.

The location, comfort, restaurant and bar. The staff are all very professional, personable and welcoming. The Tara hotel, restaurant and bar are tastefully designed and decorated with a nautical touch, all added to an enjoyable stay.
