The location & view over the harbour is exceptional, from our room & the dining & Bar area it certainly showcases the Boat Harbour. My wife was lucky enough to experience the spa after a relative gave her a voucher, and she is still taking about it, even though we are now back home, in Perth , Aus. Also you have some really great staff, Christine at reception, Paddy in the Bar & Kaileigh in the Dining area. We plan to return again in the next couple of years ( we have to celebrate Christine's 60 th), but also to visit ageing in laws in Kilcar also a local parked his tractor in the car park, & went shopping, we were gob smacked, Kaileigh, said thats Donegal county for you. We stayed in Zurich, Amsterdam, Madrid & Dublin @ a lot higher room rates, yet you blew them out of the water, certainly in your staffs friendliness.

Paddy getting me addicted to Silkie, Ha Ha ! of course we visited the Distilary and bought some home with us (to put in the Christmas Cake) There was nothing we didn't like about the Tara, Also a note, the Ladies who looked after our room, were always up for a chat, asking about where we were going for the day, makes it all very homely & personal, and they were such a laugh.

Loved the location of our room 302 wonderful views very spacious and comfortable, lovely decor. Very welcoming and pleasant staff encountered throughout the visit. Would love to come again on a longer stay

We had lovely rooms overlooking the harbour which is fascinating. Parking was easy and free.

The lighting by the bed is not adequate for reading a book in bed.

Everyone we interacted with were very warm and friendly particularly in the restaurant and during the breakfast. The food was delicious 🤤🤤. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very handy to park and have the playground right beside the hotel. Fintra beach is out of this world we adore it.

Central position overlooking harbour. Good location for my husband's mobility issues. Able to walk with his upright walker from the hotel throughout Killybegs. Freshly cooked breakfast to order with good choice.

Everything was perfect so clean,,friendly staff, food gorgeous great choice at breakfast and entertainment in Pier bar at night was fab we will be back

Rooms a bit too warm would of liked a window but we had patio doors other than this minor detail everything was great 🙂❤️
