Where do I start. ? Firstly the staff are excellent I’d like to mention Christine and Ronan they are a huge asset to the. Business. The location and access to Killybegs town is great 2 mins walking distance to everything.. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the service was outstanding. The pier bar downstairs is a mighty bar and not to be missed. It’s very rare to tick all these box’s and get everything right - The Tara Hotel is a 10/10 and we will definitely be back.

Amazing view from our window as we were upgraded free of charge, staff were all friendly and attentive. The food was delicious overall the hotel was just top class

Wonderful and polite staff. Facilities were up to date and well maintained. Good bed and linens. Easy reservation, check-in and check-out process.

We just love Killybegs we book Tara Hotel on special occasions our wedding day the honeymoon suite St Patricik day or if we need a well dererved rest the atmosfere is preious watching the Boats sail in and out and the wee seal following the Boats for food' the frendly people and the staff the bar staff they are so accomadating and helpful nothing is to much troble we love the Shops Killybegs and Donegal. May we take this opportunity to sincere Thanks to CHRISTINE she is so wonderful pleasany and kind to us has become a friend and she even left a wedding Card and chocolate for are wedding day' 'so thoughtful her frendlyness goes beyond her status she is like a mother hen. ( Tresure her.]

Very relaxing friendly staff Hotel was very clean and the decor was lovely had been refurbished from my last stay

The bedrooms were extremely warm even though we had the radiators turned off.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The harbour view room was stunning, the food was excellent and the staff were amazing throughout. A special mention goes to Sharon at reception who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. She kindly arranged an early check in for us as we were attending a local wedding, which made everything so much easier. We really appreciated it.

We have stayed a few times now, love the hotel, nice modern rooms and great location, very good food, always enjoy our stay.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Small criticism based on my own personal taste, i think a more premium butcher style sausage for breakfast, would make it a 10/10 breakfast.

The Staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. The standard of the room and the hotel as a whole was excellent.. Food was superb. Best hotel of our vacation, we stayed in similarly priced hotels but none could beat the Tara,'s customer service.
