Based in the scenic heritage town of Ardara, in South West Co. Donegal (voted Best Village to live in by the Irish Times), The DSTIM aims to provide you with a truly unique Traditional Irish Music holiday experience in the majestic hills of Co. Donegal.

Donegal is world famous for it's Traditional Irish Music and is the home to Altan, Clannad, Enya and Fidil, to name a few. Throughout the year the sound of Traditional Irish Music can be heard coming from the pubs and bars throughout this wonderful county, no more so than in the picturesque village of Ardara.

Birth place of the renowned Donegal Fiddlers John ‘The Tae’ Gallagher and John Doherty, Ardara is the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the local music tradition whilst learning about the strong cultural history of the area.

Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, Ardara is also famous for it's festivals, the warmth of it's people, spectacular scenery and unspoiled beaches. It is also world famous for it's homespun tweeds and knitwear which can be purchased in any of the numerous tweed and knitwear shops.

Ardara is only a 15min Drive from the Tara Hotel
