We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Tara hotel. Room was excellent with lovely views on the harbour. Staff were exceptional, good humoured and very attentive and efficient. Plenty of advice re trips and places to see. ,Food (breakfast and bar food) were of a very high standard. Good value. Will come again.

Staff were so friendly - from Christine at reception to Paddy at the bar they could not have been more helpful and friendly. Even the chef came out of the kitchens to have a chat with me- I didn't get his name but thanks for the hospitality !! Room was lovely and fresh and clean. Well done to all and I will see you again soon.

Wonderful friendly efficient staff.Christine very welcoming and friendly.Larisa lively helpful girl in breakfast room. Cleaning staff amazing. Food gorgeous.

As my husband and I are pensioners with a few creaky bones a few easy chairs in room would have been a great help.

Really enjoyed the fantastic shwer and jacuzzi style bath very spacious room and it's central to the town can't get any better than that

We had a great stay took in-laws for Christmas treat age 92 they were treated so well and couldn't do enough Staff and customers

Rooms are perfectly clean and perfectly maintained; the attention to detail throughout does not go unnoticed! A very enjoyable stay as always :)

The only SMALL issue was that I/we could not (partially) open a window or door for a bit of fresh air during the night - the room didn't have a window and leaving the door ajar would have left the carpet exposed to the rain, which we didn't want to do..

Very welcoming. Staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view from the room was beautiful

The only buts I have where the room was very warm during the night and could have done with lower pillows
