The Waterfront Bar & Restaurant 

The Waterfront Bar & Restaurant is at the Tara Hotel, beside Killybegs Harbour. We serve delicious food every day, from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, and you are welcome whether you are staying with us or just calling in.

Delicious food, cooked in our kitchen 

Killybegs fish and seafood are at the centre of our menu, alongside soups, mains and plenty of choice for every appetite. Our desserts and bakes are made here in the hotel kitchen, so leave room for something sweet.

Lunch and dinner 

Lunch is served every day from 12pm. Our evening menu is served from 4pm to 8pm Sunday to Thursday, and from 4pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

Breakfast and brunch

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am Monday to Friday, and from 8am to 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday. Brunch is served from 11.30am.

Tea, coffee and a catch up

The Waterfront is also the perfect place to meet a friend for tea or coffee. Tea is served by the pot, and we have coffee, decaf and hot chocolate, with alternative milks available. Add a dessert or a fresh bake from our kitchen.

Groups

Travelling with a crowd? We would love to have you. The Waterfront can seat a full coach party in one sitting, so your whole group can sit down and eat together without waiting on tables.

We regularly welcome tour groups, clubs, societies and family gatherings for lunch and dinner. Coaches can pull in at Killybegs Harbour, right beside the hotel, and it is only a short walk to our door.
